Hi Rob,
Just wanted to say thanks for a great lunch yesterday, will
definitely be back,
it was so refreshing to find a landlord that gives a dam, the
cheeses were stunning
and the wife was talking about her bacon sandwich all afternoon,
its not brain surgery serving good ingredients well,
but I was beginning to think it was a forgotten art.
If you're ever on the harbour pop in for a coffee if not
we'll see you very soon at the Waterman's
BEWARE LARGE PORTIONS!
Martin took on the mixed grill and lost!
In fact that is a white flag on the plate!
Thanks for the photo's
THE LAST WORD! I have tried and failed to put into words how we feel about the food
at
The Waterman's Arms and words like passion come cheap and sound
disingenuous.
Here is a clip from one of our favourite comics that gets close to how
we feel,
also very funny.
Especially pertinent to us as we have banned French
in the kitchen!
Reminds us of our Head Chef, Craig who tries to feed all of us, all
the time
For Italian substitute, English, Luigi is Rob and Giuseppe would be
Craig,
poor, poor Timmy. Enjoy!

(I 'borrowed' some of these from the web, if you own any and
want them removed please ask, otherwise, thanks!)
