Glorious, glorious Devon!
A quintessential 17th Century Inn set in an area of outstanding natural beauty,
at the bottom of a steep valley next to Bow Creek and bridge.
The Inn has been used as a smithy, a brew house, petrol station, a prison
and a haunt for the feared press gangs.
The area was recorded in the Domesday book.
- Well behaved children are welcome in the inn and grounds and we have a
- Wendy house and small climbing frame in a fenced area for them and their parents.
- Many customers bring their dogs to us and they are most welcome
- fresh water and dog snacks are always available!
